Over the years, I’ve worked on 100-plus high-impact campaigns for corporate clients. These have ranged from feature articles, case studies, and video scripts to media kits, press packs, and destination guides.

Here’s a small sample of my creative work.

Multimedia Campaigns

For the creative arms of global media giants, including NBC Universal, BBC StoryWorks, Haymarket, and CNN, I’ve helped to create sweeping visual and editorial pieces for clients such as TotalEnergies, Insead, Brand South Africa, the Saudi PIF, India’s Ministry of Tourism, and the Japanese Cabinet.

Adventures in Saudi | NBC Universal

The Saudi PIF has invested heavily in tourism in recent years. To highlight the country’s emerging destinations and social evolution, I interviewed four young changemakers, including a female free diver, a contemporary artist, a DJ with roots in the U.K. as well as Saudi, and the country’s top food authority.

With their insights, I wrote rich, deeply researched stories that helped to provide a different view of what might be the world’s next big tourism destination. I also wrote all the web page copy and traffic drivers.

A Little Arctic’s Town Big Transition | NBC Universal

Located deep in the Arctic Circle, the town of Longyearbyen was built on coal. But now it’s trying to leap into the future as it closes its last coal mine and shifts to renewable energy.

For this campaign, I researched Longyearbyen’s unique history; interviewed some of the scientists, artists, and academics at the vanguard of its transformation; and presented a unique profile of the international community that lives there today.

How the next generation of South African entrepreneurs is fuelling the future | BBC StoryWorks 

Wracked by rolling blackouts, deep-rooted social inequalities, and a sharp rural-urban divide, South Africa is facing several potential crises at once. For this series, I interviewed and profiled a few entrepreneurs, scientists, and activists who are addressing these problems with bold, inventive ideas.

I helped to identify the individuals to profile, coordinated with the film crew in South Africa, and researched and wrote three engaging digital features.

Incredible India | NBC Universal

To drive tourism to areas beyond Mumbai or the “golden triangle” of Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur, India’s Ministry of Tourism commissioned NBC Universal to produce a hub page with several digital features and videos highlighting secondary destinations. I interviewed travel vloggers, chefs, and more to promote destinations like Kerala, Maharashtra and the Ellora Caves, Ladakh, and Humayun’s Tomb in Delhi.

The Filipino Way: Margarita Fores | CNN

Philippines Tourism commissioned CNN to highlight the country’s strengths as a multifaceted tourism destination. To do that, I traveled to Manila to interview five transformative figures, including Margarita Fores, who was named the best female chef in Asia in 2016 by Asia’s Best Restaurants.

Copywriting and Editing

I’ve written web page content for startup fashion brands and tech companies; press releases for five-star properties worldwide, including Rosewood, Four Seasons, and New World hotels and resorts; print and digital MICE destination guides for Dubai, South Korea, and Thailand; social media copy for national tourism boards; B2B newsletters; and more.

I also work with Springer Creative. The Philadelphia-based content agency, run by renowned travel writer Kate Springer, counts some of the world’s biggest hospitality and transport brands among its clients.
